JR. CRM Developer

POSITION SUMMARY
Develops and maintains applications on the Salesforce platform. Collaborates with product leaders and takes guidance from lead developer and Salesforce technical architect.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

  • Participates in all phases of the Application Lifecycle Management: requirements analysis, development, testing, and implementation. Participates in technical logic and design discussions.
  • Develops and customizes Salesforce applications using APEX, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Assists in the implementation of Salesforce workflows, triggers, and process automation.
  • Integrates Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Debugs and troubleshoots issues in Salesforce applications and provides timely resolutions.
  • Supports the implementation of front-end components for Salesforce applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Assists in maintaining and optimizing Salesforce configurations, including objects, fields, and page layouts.
  • Participates in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Participates in the review and analysis of business requirements and technical documentation.
  • Collaborates with other development, architecture, and product development teams to ensure delivery of product.
  • Assists in the timely completion of assigned development projects.
  • Prepares required documentation for developed software.
  • Assists in the estimation of personnel requirements and time for development projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.

Experience: 6+ months of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including APEX programming. Experience with Salesforce integration using REST/SOAP APIs.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
This may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Exposure to Lightning Web Components (LWC) development.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange packages and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD tools for Salesforce.
  • Basic understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Validation Rules.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model, including objects, relationships, and SOQL queries.
  • Must possess ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication, including a willingness to occasionally work in a pair-programming environment.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Good attitude and initiative.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

License(s)/Certifications Required
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I) preferred.
 

SALARY RANGE 
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
