Operations Applications Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures production systems are stable and operate efficiently to provide necessary functions that business requires from production systems.
LOCATION
Remote (TN) Candidate must reside in the Middle Tennessee area.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
- Manages and maintains production application systems, ensuring the stability and operation of those systems.
- Monitors and updates ticketing systems.
- Monitors system performance.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots application issues.
- Performs smoke test system updates.
- Manages user access and implements necessary updates for identified systems.
- Manages scheduling for system outages, system updates, holiday processing and production batch functions.
- Coordinates with internal and external teams to resolve production system issues.
- Facilitates communication between commercial and technology teams to optimize workflows pertaining to internal development tasks, issue resolution, business updates related to production systems, etc.
- Performs root cause analysis for issue prevention.
- Assists with operational documentation.
- Regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: Minimum three years of experience working in a large data environment.Minimum five years working as Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Analyst, or Operations Control Analyst.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
- Strong SQL skills in DB2 and Oracle.
- Knowledge and experience in Workflow Systems such as IBM BAW.
- Knowledge of Z/OS, Linux and Windows Servers.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, can manage multiple tasks from start to completion with limited supervision.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Knowledge of entertainment industry a plus.
SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
