Social Work Jobs

School social workers evaluate the psychological and social health of students from elementary schools to universities. Generally, they provide counseling to students, and then the students, parents, and school staff work together to provide the resources needed to help.

A typical day in the life of a school social worker might include:
• Maintaining case files and reports to track problems and progression
• Communicating with parents, teachers, and administrators to find the full scope of issues
• Solving problems and providing counseling or treatment plans for students.
